Dadfit's Impact

“The program fills a critical gap in service delivery for dads. This evaluation therefore recommends ongoing, recurring funding for the program.” 

Drummond Street Services Centre for Family Research and Evaluation completed a program evaluation involving 239 Dadfit dads. 

They found that Dadfit led to significant improvements in dads’ mental and physical health, self-confidence as a parent, and community connection.

• 99% of dads said Dadfit had a positive impact on their mental health.
• 93% feel more connected to dads in the local community
• 90% report positive effects on the father-child relationship 
• 91% say Dadfit has helped them to be a better partner
  (or co-parent)
• 98% say they would recommend the program to friends
